The county seat is Eatonton, which is rich in charm and history. Come see Miss Georgia at the Uncle Remus Museum before taking in an event at the Georgia Writer’s Museum. The Plaza Arts Center hosts many fantastic events throughout the year, and has a museum of the area which is available year round.
